About 310 Onsite

James and Kelly Cantelme began 310 Dust Control with a prayer and a dream. This powerhouse of a couple has been married since 2005, and together they have built 310 from the ground up.

What began as a small dust control operation has blossomed into a successful and growing enterprise. With determination and hard work, they turned a simple idea into a thriving, nationwide emergency response company.

James, who is also a full-time member with the Daisy Mountain Fire Department, has been a driving force behind the company’s growth. His expertise in both fire safety and disaster response has played a key role in the company’s expansion, enabling 310 to offer critical services when and where they’re needed most.
Our Roots

More Than Dust Control

Our story starts in the heart of Desert Hills, Arizona, with a man, a family, and a desperate need to make ends meet. James, a husband and father of two (with a third on the way), found himself facing tough times and limited options. With no roadmap but plenty of grit, he bought a used water truck off Craigslist — the first step toward something much bigger.

Working jobs in the heat and dust, James noticed something: fire tenders and service crews that inspired him. He began to believe he could do more. For a year, he studied government contracts late into the night, learning every detail with nothing but determination and a dream.

With faith and courage, he cashed in his pension, with enough to purchase only a water tank and plumbing. A local company saw his potential and took a chance on him by financing the truck chassis. That was the moment it all changed — 310’s Wildland division was born.

Since then, the business has grown far beyond what anyone expected — but the foundation remains the same: hard work, prayers, and the belief that with enough determination, anything is possible.

We’re still rooted in the same values that started it all: family, community, and never backing down from a challenge.
310 Onsite

Behind the Name

Originally “310 Dust Control” we were a small company focused on servicing our local residential horse arenas by keeping the dust down. The “310” portion pertains to our local county’s dust code. 310 is the numeric ARS code…
